1. Keep Your Grill Clean:
A clean grill is a safe grill. Grease buildup can cause flare-ups and fires, so make it a habit to clean your grill grates and drip pans regularly. After each use, brush the grates with a grill brush and empty any accumulated grease.
2. Check for Gas Leaks:
Before using a gas grill, always check for gas leaks. A simple way to do this is by mixing a solution of equal parts water and dish soap. Apply the solution to the gas hose and connections, then turn on the gas. If you see bubbles forming, you have a leak and should repair it before using the grill.
